The Year of Faith will also be a good opportunity to intensify the witness of charity. Faith without charity bears no fruit, while charity without faith would be a sentiment constantly at the mercy of doubt. On the occasion of the conclusion to the Year of Faith, Pope Francis invites us to make a charitable offering to assist those in the Philippines who have been affected by Typhoon “Haiyan”.

The monetary donation being collected will be sent to the Episcopal Conference of the Philippines and will be used for the most urgent of needs.
